Ken Moroney

Ken Moroney was described by David Mesum in his Newyln School show in the early eighties  as one of the ‘’most promising young artists of his generation’’ Ken’s style is steeped in the traditional manner – he takes influence of Munning’s and Sego but makes them his own unique style. So keen was David Mesum to show Ken Moroney’s work that he included it his show of Newlyn painters – the oddity was that Ken was the only living artist in the show – all the other greats had long past.  A great honour for a living artist.
Ken has exhibited at Royal academy and is in major collections and galleries throughout the world.

This early, tightly executed, work is unlike Ken’s early work which is more loose and fluid (please see still life in this exhibition)  This present work is a fine portrait executed with skill and precision.  | 0203 589 1577
